Time Travel IS a science fiction theme and, although the film production is a miserable musical vehicle for Bing Crosby, it's the best that Hollywood has managed to crank out at the moment. It's not about Medieval England, it's a satirical view about slavery and other injustices in the United States just after the 1860=1865 Civil War.
